

Caro Jauregui (she/her/ella)
Caro Jauregui brings 18 years of experience in executive leadership, public service, and public policy advocacy. Her expertise supports entities with organizational growth, fiscal management, multi-year fundraising, and building impactful leadership teams.
As a Whittier City School District Board of Education member, Caro oversees a budget of $75 million for 11 schools and 800 staff members that serve over 5,500 students. She is a staunch advocate for increasing funding for facilities and mental health services in the K-8 educational system. Previously, as Co-Executive Director of California Walks, Caro advanced community-led statewide policy initiatives, increased the organizational budget, and strengthened the Board of Directors.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies with a Minor in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. She also attained a Master of Public Policy from Mills College.
Caro’s spiritually rooted leadership style supports entities committed to creating transformative change. Her experience living with Lyme disease and limited mobility inform her approach to lead with compassion and empathy. She is excited to be part of the Liberation Consultants Group and support the vision of community-rooted social justice leaders.
